What age is best for milk bath sessions?
Milk bath sessions work wonderfully for ages 1-8 years old! Toddlers love the sensory experience and playfulness. Older kids enjoy the unique creativity. Babies 6-12 months also do great with parent assistance. Each age brings different adorable moments!
Is real milk used? What about allergies?
We use warm water mixed with milk (or milk alternative for allergies/sensitivities). It's perfectly safe and creates that gorgeous milky-white effect. If your child has dairy allergies, we can use coconut milk, oat milk, or other alternatives that still photograph beautifully!
What should my child wear?
Most children wear simple white or neutral undergarments, or we can provide age-appropriate neutral clothing. The focus is on their sweet face surrounded by flowers and cookies! Bring a towel, change of clothes, and swimwear if preferred.
How long does the session take?
Sessions are typically 30-45 minutes. This includes setup, bath time fun, and cleanup. We work quickly while your child is happy and engaged. The actual time in the bath is usually 15-20 minutes - perfect for keeping kids comfortable and enjoying the experience!
Where do milk bath sessions take place?
Sessions can be done at my studio setup in Chillicothe or at your home if you have good natural light. I bring the tub, milk, flowers, cookies, and all props. You just need space and warm water access! Indoor sessions ensure comfort regardless of weather.
