I photograph children of all ages - from newborns to teenagers! Each age group has unique needs and session approaches. Toddlers get playful, active sessions, while older kids can express their personalities and interests. I adapt my style to make every child comfortable.
How do you keep kids engaged during the session?
Kids sessions are all about FUN! I bring games, bubbles, and silly prompts to keep children engaged. We play, explore, and capture genuine smiles naturally. Sessions feel like playtime, not work. I'm experienced working with shy, energetic, and everything-in-between personalities!
How long are kids photography sessions?
Sessions are typically 30-60 minutes depending on your child's age. Younger children (toddlers) do better with shorter 30-minute sessions. Older kids can handle 45-60 minutes. I work at your child's pace - if they need a break, we take one!
What should my child wear?
Choose comfortable clothing your child likes wearing - they'll be more confident! Avoid heavy logos or character shirts that distract from their face. Coordinating colors work great for siblings. I'll send detailed wardrobe suggestions after booking.
What if my child is shy or won't cooperate?
This is totally normal and I'm very experienced with shy or reluctant kids! I give them time to warm up, never force poses, and use games to build trust. Sometimes the most authentic photos happen when kids are being themselves - even if that means silly faces or running around!
Can you photograph multiple siblings together?
Absolutely! I love sibling sessions. We'll capture individual portraits of each child plus sweet sibling interactions. Sibling photos are treasured for a lifetime - the bond between brothers and sisters is so special to document!
